I am a trained psychotherapist with an Integral Counseling Psychology Masters degree from The California Institute of Integral Studies. I am also in the process of becoming a certified Co-Active coach with the Coaches Training Institute. I received my B.A. in Sociology from Vassar College. I am bilingual in Spanish and my recent psychotherapeutic work has been as a Bilingual Trauma Therapist with victims of crime.
Before my graduate studies, I lived for eight years in Oaxaca, Mexico, and Barcelona, Spain. During this time, I taught English and Art, studied metalwork and jewelry design, and became fluent in Spanish. I am an artist, sewist, and mother.
Therapeutic Coaching focuses on your specific goals and how to move forward to reach those goals, while taking into account your physical, emotional and spiritual selves. As a Co-Active coach, I hold an underlying premise that you are naturally creative, resourceful and whole, and are capable of finding your own answers to your questions. I am here to support and empower you as you access your power, strength, intuition, creativity and integrity. My coaching style is trauma informed and I am confident working with the complex range of human emotion as well as the way we hold our pasts in our bodies. I am particularly passionate about working with new moms as they move through their own unique transformation.
I am currently offering a renewable three month Therapeutic Coaching package. This includes bi-monthly sessions with text/email support throughout the month. Sessions are held via a video phone service called Zoom. My fee is $75 US dollars for each 50 minute session. I also offer some sliding scale spots in my coaching practice.
